I'm sorry there wasn't a new CCC list this week. I've decided to take a couple weeks off and recharge my writing batteries, as I felt the lists I was working on were not reaching the level I aim for each week, and having maintained the schedule of offering a new list every week has began to wear on me.
This break will only be temporary, however, and I plan on returning with plenty more content later this month, including more CCC lists, predictions/previews of upcoming films, and what I'm most excited for, a brand new segment which I'm happy to announce right now for the first time...
Clayton’s Monster Madness!!!!
Every day for the entire month of October, I am going to be
doing a contemporary review of a horror film. Ranging from classic, black and
white cinema, to modern productions, these films will also run the gamut from
true terror, to cheesy tongue in cheek entertainment, to undeniably bad, and
even underrated masterpieces. Tune in each day of October for a new review,
divided into weeks with particular themes, such as mutant monsters, werewolves,
or remakes.
Inspired by James Rolfe who hosts Cinemassacre’s Monster Madness
every October, Clayton’s Monster Madness follows in his footsteps, hoping to
offer reviews for frightening films you might not have heard about otherwise.
I can’t wait to delve into the horror genre and share my
thoughts with all you readers!
